1. Who we are

The ecoLedger website and public brand are operated by HTE Accountants. HTE Accountants is responsible for the personal information collected through the website where it acts as the data controller.

2. Information we currently collect

The website may collect information that you choose to provide when you contact us, request a consultation, or register interest in an upcoming resource. This can include:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your mobile or telephone number, where you provide it.
• Your business name, where you include it in an enquiry.
• Information you voluntarily include in a message or enquiry.

The contact form asks for your full name, email address, optional phone number, optional service category, and message. The Get Started form asks for your full name, email address, optional phone number, optional primary interest, and optional additional details. The course and AI Assistant waitlists ask for your name and email address.

The website does not currently ask for PPS numbers, tax reference numbers, bank details, payment card information, financial records, accounting documents, identity documents, passwords, user accounts, biometric information, chat history, or sensitive personal information through these forms.

3. Why we use this information

We use information submitted through the website to:

• Respond to enquiries and questions.
• Discuss requested consultations or services.
• Understand the service category or business need in an enquiry.
• Manage course and AI Assistant interest lists.
• Send an update that you have specifically requested.

We may share information with people working for HTE Accountants and with service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or operate the website and its enquiry forms. Those providers should only process information as needed for their services and applicable instructions.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may send technical request information, such as an IP address, to Google when requesting those font files. Google handles that information under its own policies.

The floating WhatsApp button is an external link. If you follow it, you leave the ecoLedger website and any information you choose to share in WhatsApp is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy. HTE Accountants does not control WhatsApp's processing.

We do not currently identify Google Analytics, advertising pixels, marketing automation, session-recording tools, or payment providers operating on this website.

6. Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it for the purposes described here. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
